Early 19th Century Miniature Portrait of 'O. W. Berry'. Watercolour. Lighting from youth (Spring) to oldA charming early 19th century miniature portrait, inscribed verso 'O. W. Berry Grandfather'. The work has been cut to fit a rather crudely made oval card mount. When removed from the frame, the full half length portrait is revealed as well as the red chair in which the sitter is seated. The frame itself is typical of the period but the glass is a little loose. The whole nonetheless displays well and the work itself is very executed. Dimensions
