The rod is in excellent original condition with the exception of the mid male ferrule being re wrapped in a darker green thread. All sections are full length and straight. Serial number E55754, the rod was made in 1942. Golden silks on the guides and classic Hardy green at the ferrules, tip tops, and winding check. The varnish is in great condition with a few very small chips
