Elizabeth Ann Seton Painting Framing:framed This tapestry-like pictureThis portrait of St Elizabeth Ann Seton was painted in acrylics on archival cotton rag board. She is in a cabin in winter, symbolizing the hardships she endured for her Lord and the vocation He called her to live out. It would be a bleak picture indeed if not for the warm colors of dawn. Elizabeth was responsible for the dawn of Catholic schools and a new religious order in this country. What a gift she was to the USA! Elizabeth Ann Bayley Seton, S.
