The central portrait depicts a lady gazing into the distance, holding her dog in the crook of her arm with what looks to be a horse whip in hand, before a background of trees. The whole being surrounded by a gilt painted border. There are some scuffs and scratches commensurate with age but overall the tray remains in a remarkably good condition
