While ferrules have standardized sizes there is occasionally some small variation across makers

which uses my "payne-style acorn cap" (normally used with a screw-lock seat) with a standard sliding ring which is seated over nickel silver rails inset into the spacer

Light tip is marked with a band of red at the tip top

Marked "JH 8' Regd. trade Mark, Palakona, 'the Phantom', #6" (as well as what appears to be "2h5cm" though it's difficult to make out the script). Slightly soiled blunt cigar grip with all cork seat and aluminum ring and pocket cap. Pocket cap stamped "made by Hardy's England". Varnished light colored cane with 3 up node pattern. Wrapped black with red edges.
