I believe this little frog dates to the late 19th century
I've become more and more drawn to antique miniature portraits
as what child would have any idea how to use this
making them feel more aligned with Scherenschnitte (finely cut paper silhouettes)

No end of possibilities. In its black against white capital lettered spareness and declarativeness, it makes me think of I Am A Man
