Champagne Philipponnat Le Leon Grand Cru 2015 (750ml) it delivers a fine balanceGlowing with energy, the 2015 Le Lon showcases pure lemon zest, white peach and wildflower honey, carried over a vibrant mineral frame. Made from vineyards near Mareuil sur A, with some Clos des Goisses fruit, it delivers a rich but lifted palate framed by silky mousse and notes of starfruit, orange blossom and crushed stone. Full bodied yet fresh, with a saline, chalky tension running underneath the fruit, this Champagne finishes long and elegant.
