There is  some writing on the underside in graphite which I can't quite discern

and would make a fabulous gift to anyone serious (or just enthusiastic

but a finger or any sort of mallet will do to punch down "tearful"

possibly repaired

The brass dog tags tacked to the board mark each year of life, spanning Boston, Arlington MA, and the state of Maine. The snapshot at center was captioned in ink, mostly worn off now, though "9 Years Old" is very clear and clearly was not referring to
