The tea caddy is decorated with ornate foliate gilt designs throughout with brass carrying handles to each side. The hinged lid has a decorative painted armorial to the centre and opens to reveal a plush interior with four metal tea canisters. The mixing bowl is absent. The caddy shows signs of wear commensurate with age throughout with losses to the lacquer and denting
