The gilding obviously is well worn but otherwise in very good condition

which for me is exactly what this RPPC captures

as pictured--no real matter

with theorem painting--as the embroidery very much mimics a theorem on velvet of a basket of flowers in terms not just of composition but also manner of execution

The lidded one will nest inside the other, or the latter turned upside down will make a nice pedestal for the former. The open one is much older, late 19th early 20th c.
