The embellishments enshrine six French holy card images of St. Therese of Lisieux, known as the "Little Flower" for her love of nature. A childhood image of St. Therese is adorned on the spine of the box. There are four images of St. Therese as a Carmelite nun. Flowers and crosses are sprayed throughout the design.
