The rod maker
The books are being sold as a pair
" This rod was actually ordered as a slightly faster taper so I would call it medium fast rather than medium
Polished aluminum downlocking screw-lock and a black bakelite seat with the threads cut into the bakelite
not a Sharpe's or Farlow's rod built on a P&M blank
Jerry Drake Spey Rod 10'6" 3/2 #8 2-piece The rod makerHere we have a Jerry Drake two handed rod, 10'6", 2 piece, 2 tip, built for a #8 line. Serial number 38, and marked "G243H". 8. 1 ounces. Marked 8 1 2008. Full flexing action. Lightly used as the grip is about 95% clean. A varnish chip from a glancing hook blow just below the top stripping guide is the only real sign of use. The cane is a wheat straw color and the nodes seem to be clustered close together (within 2") in a somewhat random pattern.
