It is a slow growing species with curved leaves that are green to brownish (depending on light) with red teeth on the leaf margins. This form of the species has red prickles all over the leaf surface. Leaves are curved and individual heads are usually 3 4 inches diameter. Forms clumps in time. Takes similar care to other small Aloe species and hybrids.
