A couple of small stains at top right which look like watercolor or ink smears perhaps original to the paper on which it was done

You could certainly peel more paint off if you tried

Beautiful Antique Carved Doll Torso hanging spoon holder The exterior features both redI'm sure I couldn't afford this doll if it still had its carved limbs and head, but I think I might rather have this torso exactly as it is plus, it stands up on its own, making a really wonderful tabletop sculpture. Toward the base are still the nails pins via which the legs would have attached, and around the neck and arm holes still some old paint. Beautiful patina to the dry wood, and to my eye lovely. 7 3 8' t X 3 5 8" d X 2 3 16" d.
