My inspiration for this piece came from a visit to the famous Ballintoy harbour just as Covid lockdown was coming to an end

in Northern Ireland

Runkerry beach is situated between the Giant’s Causeway and the seaside village Portballintrae on the Causeway Coastal Route in Northern Ireland

Here I have captured the castle in late evening when the fading light created striking blue hues in the sky and accentuated the bright emerald green of the fields in the foreground

East Strand, Portrush Portstewart My inspiration for this pieceThis view of the popular East strand beach in Portrush is only a few steps away from the famous Arcadia building and is one of my favourite beach walks leading to the Whiterocks beach, viewed in the distance. The light was particularly beautiful on this Autumn day with the sky reflecting unusual and subtle purple and turquoise hues onto the water.
