Oxidized swiss ferrules with a collar on the males with incised slant knurl and trim marks

The only thing I could find on this was a little discoloration of the grip and a tiny amount of edge wear to the ring and the corner of the butt cap

Never a line has touched this reel

This olive version includes the original leather/canvas reel muffin and is in like new condition

Shows signs of light use, i. e., some brassing of oxidation and some bag imprint, but the varnish is not gummy. All sections are full length with tight fitting ferrules. Wrapped brown with black edges. Agate stripper. Spanish cedar slide band seat. Butt cap stamped "E. F. Payne" and on the reverse, "Sold by H&D Folsom Arms Co, E. F. Payne Rod Co New York, Makers".
